Casey Blake hit a three-run double with two outs in the eighth inning as the Indians defeat the White Sox, 10-8, in the season opener for both teams at Progressive Field.
The Indians worked out of a bases-loaded, none out jam in the top of the eighth.
Rafael Betancourt earned the victory, Joe Borowski the save.
Borowski gave up a homer to Jermaine Dye in the ninth.
